She Turned Over £1 Million in Her Second Year (Only 1 in 100 Female Founders Do This)

with Aime Ayrehart

AILeadership

Show Notes

Aime Ayrehart spent over two decades in senior HR roles across the NHS, local government, and the private sector, until she blew the whistle on a chief exec, got suspended on full pay for 14 months, sued her employer, and lost in court. She wrote a book naming names anyway, then built Aime, an AI tool designed to give HR people the psychological and legal judgment that most of them were never trained to have. In this episode, we talk about why 90% of HR professionals say they have not had enough psychology training, why the cost of unresolved workplace conflict is estimated at £2 billion a year, how the language in a dismissal letter can completely change how someone experiences being let go, and why she believes empathy, not procedure, is the thing most organisations are missing. We also get into what it actually took to build an AI HR product as a non technical founder, why arguing with AI is oddly satisfying, the difference between NLP as neuro-linguistic programming and NLP as natural language processing, and why she thinks founders wait far too long to bring in proper HR support.
